Dear Jonny, Meaning Of Life?
What’s the meaning of life?
Over the course of our brief lifetimes, it should be our main goal to strive toward achieving and maintaining a balanced existence. Energy cannot be destroyed, so the driving force behind our lives will not cease to exist. That said, I believe that at the moment of death, our energy needs to be in as balanced a form as possible. Everyone’s balance is different, so my ultimate balance may not be as superficially attractive as the next guy’s. And that’s ok. The after-life isn’t a fashion show. But it is a time when whatever we’ve allowed our inner force to become will pass on somewhere else. Perhaps an intrinsically chaotic portion of the universe. Perhaps not. It’s important to remember that one man’s chaos is another man’s harmony. Again, it depends on the degree of balance you’ve reached, if any. A man must find where he stands between good and evil, yin and yang, and take to it with absolutely no reservations. Where we’re going has more to do with how much effort we put into allowing ourselves to take true form, whatever that may be, which is something that is largely discouraged by one-size-fits-all ideologies. The meaning is balance.
